What an incredible evening! Our Night to Provide: Bids and Bites event was an amazing success.

We raised an astounding $46,154!

What a testament to the generosity of our community of friends, families, and coworkers — providing nourishment and hope to more than 690 families.

A Night to Provide: Bids and Bites was held on Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 pm at Royce Brook Golf Club. As part of Hunger Action Month, this one-night basket auction turned donated items and services into meals on the table for Central New Jersey families who’ve run out of backup plans. Each bid offered a lifeline: for the mother who skips dinner so her children won’t have to; for the student struggling to focus while hungry. Your generosity helped to fill pantries today and gives families hope that next week won’t feel like the last.

Guests enjoyed over 50 basket raffles, a beer and wine open bar, and a variety of chef-crafted dinner stations. The energy was kept high with special entertainment, words shared from our volunteers, a impactful video of the families we serve and how Feeding Hands has made a difference in their lives, and Feeding Hands was thrilled to honor Assemblyman Freiman for his contributions in helping to combat food insecurity in Somerset County. From the first bite to the final raffle pull – an amazing time was had by all who attended, all while raising critical funds to fill the empty fridges of our New Jersey neighbors who’ve run out of options.

A special thank you to all of the incredible hands that helped to make this a success, including more than 120 donors, 10 business sponsors, 38 local businesses, restaurants, and partners who helped make the night shine through creative basket donations, gift cards, and in-kind contributions, The Bryan Hansen Band for setting the tone with their amazing music, Royce Brook Golf Club for hosting us in their beautiful pavilion, Jon Tan of Dreamlite Photography for capturing the festivities and to Simply Sweets by Lauren for ending the night with such delicious treats!
