Neighborhood Compost has partnered with Feeding Hands to ensure no food goes to waste! Neighborhood Compost collects Feeding Hands' spoiled fruits and vegetables each week.

Neighborhood Compost is a women-owned organics hauling service and family farm that focuses on closing the loop between food disposal and cultivation. Their operations provide compost pick ups for both residential & commercial customers in Northern NJ and have diverted approximately 400,000 lbs of food waste from landfills over the last 4 years. On their family farm, viable food scraps are fed to livestock and then composted in large windrow piles and then utilized to grow healthy crops organically for our communities.
